Gigabit PoE injectors: the standard link, powered

Gigabit-rate injectors across three families — the default choice for a single camera, AP or phone that needs standards PoE on a gigabit link, at 30W, 60W or 90W.

λ.01

The one-link power problem, at gigabit

The gigabit injector is the most ordinary product in this catalogue and the one most projects actually need: one Ethernet link at 10/100/1000, one powered device, power inserted at the point that makes sense — beside the device, in the floor cabinet, at the tower base. This page collects the gigabit-rate models from the commercial PoE Injector family, the industrial family and the AI Smart line, because the gigabit decision is really three smaller decisions: power class, environment, and whether the unit should be managed or display-equipped.

The commercial anchor is documented precisely: the LNK-AIPSE301 series (AI Smart injectors with LED screen) is described in the manufacturer's materials as a compact gigabit high-power PoE injector line enabling connection between non-PoE LAN switches and IEEE 802.3 af/at (30W model) or af/at/bt (60W and 90W models) powered devices such as IP cameras and wireless access points. The industrial gigabit models trade the display for hardened enclosures and wide-range DC input. Same negotiation, different worlds.

Gigabit-class injector models across the commercial, industrial and AI Smart families. Multi-gig (2.5G/5G/10G) models are listed on the Industrial PoE Injectors page.

λ.02

How to specify

Power class: 30W covers most, price the exception

A fixed camera or a phone lives comfortably in the 30W af/at class. Reserve 60W/90W bt gigabit models for devices that document the need (PTZ, multi-radio AP, device + peripheral). The inquiry that names the device gets the class confirmed, not guessed.

Environment again: commercial vs industrial gigabit

Identical data rate, different survivability. Indoor rack or office: commercial. Cabinet, plant room, vehicle, outdoor enclosure: industrial, with its DC input window matched to site power.

Don't strand a multi-gig device on a gigabit injector

If the powered device's port is 2.5G or faster, this page is the wrong shelf — those models are in the industrial family listing. Check the device's port rate before defaulting to gigabit.

Questions buyers ask

Will a gigabit injector slow my link?

No — the injector is transparent to the data path at its rated speed; a gigabit model passes gigabit. The caution runs the other way: a gigabit injector caps a multi-gig device at 1G, which is a specification choice, not a defect.

Can I power a device through two injectors for redundancy?

Standard practice is one PSE per link. Redundant power designs are a switch/plant-level topic — describe the requirement in the inquiry rather than doubling injectors.

What cable does the powered run need?

Standard structured cabling rules apply (Cat5e or better for gigabit). The injector changes who supplies power, not the cabling physics.

Confirm the exact configuration before payment

Send the model name, the distance, the fiber type and the quantity. We will confirm the matching transmitter/receiver pairing, the optical module and the full specification of the exact model in writing before you pay.
